What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?I consider the worst thing about my school is the greek affiliations. West Virginia Wesleyan is a extremely small school since it is private so the greek groups have actual houses for them to stay in.  Every night there seems to be a party going on at every house, and the noise carries all over the town making it hard to sleep at night or to concentrate while studying.,What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?West Virginia Wesleyan is an expensive school. I suggest anyone that is going to college and plans to just party should not go there. Without any scholarships, the school can cost a little over 40,000 dollars per year so, if the person is just going to party and not work on their academics then by going there they are throwing that money down the drain. That’s a lot of money!

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had none how hard some of the subjects and classes were before college. Going into college, I wasn?t prepared for some of the material and challenges of college that have now become benefits. This college takes a lot of work to succeed in; but it?s extremely rewarding when you can look past the black and white of an issue and further analyze it. Going to this college has really opened-up my mind to different possibilities in my life that I would have never considered before attending it.,What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I brag about the fact that my campus is very hands-on with its students. The times and where you can meet professors, counselors, faculty, and tutors is only aimed towards the convenience of the students. The faculty of our college always goes the extra mile to accommodate its students. I also brag about the overall environment of our college and the excellent activities we have after class: theater plays, musical performers, readings from local authors and faculty, and other miscellaneous, fun events held on and off our excellent campus!

What is your school best known for?West Virginia Wesleyan College is best known for its outstanding Track and Field team. They have been region champions consecutively for five years. WVWC is also known for its acedemic competetiveness. When compared to other colleges in West Virginia, Wesleyan reamains one of the most acedemically challenging schools.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? As cliche as this question may be, my response will probably be even more cliche, so beware. I believe that what I knew before coming to college was all that I needed to know.  The way I see it is no amount of knowledge or warnings can prepare you for the college experience;. this is becasue every school is different , every individual is unique; therefore, an experience can never truely be taught or prepared for. In essence, i believe that an experience can only be understood by living that experience; college is the perfect example. Everything happens for a reason.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school? The atmosphere. The school is well kept up and the professors are always there for you.  The majority of the students here are athletes and the professors are great at working with us. The class sizes are amazing and the quality of education is great as well.,If you could change something about your school, what would you change? We have several varsity sports, but our facilities are slightly lacking. Finding the funds to help improve the sports facilities would be one things I would change about my school.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The best thing about my school is the size. There are such small class sizes, and the campus is so compact. Everyone knows each other on a personal level, and even the professors get to know their students by connecting with them in a way that is deeper than the traditional student teacher relationship.,What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about my school for me is where it is located. I like the town decently, but there is not a whole lot to do. Also it is three hours away from my home town, so that is not so convenient for me, but all in all even though this is the worst quality, it isn’t that bad. If I could pick the college up and move it within ten minutes from my house, I would say it was just about perfect.
