What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?I love the involvement that everyone has at the University of Utah. There are always opportunities to reach out and do something more. The football games are very fun to go to and if you have the quick hand you can get into the games for free! I sincerely appreciate the availability and willingness to help of the teachers. Although class sizes are generally quite large, teachers take time outside of their lectures to help students understand better the material. What kind of person should attend this school? The University of Utah is a great school for students with prospective medical careers or dealing with the physical sciences. We have the freshest cadavers for the anatomical seekers and a very extensive physical sciences department. The weather is extremely cold during the winter months, but if one can push through the ‘freeze’ then there is not a lot of down sides to the University of Utah.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school? The thing that I brag about the most about my school is all the different activities that are there to help bring students together. Another thing that I brag about is the diversity of students that are present there and all of the interesting things you can learn from people that I go to school with. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The most frustarating thing about my school is the freshman class sizes. I have a few classes that are 250 + students. I would prefer if there was a little more one on one with the teacher.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?I love all the programs that are designed to help students, such as the libraries data bases. I also enjoy the variety of classes that the University has to offer. The diversity is also very great, and helps me adjust to the real world. I experience things I have never experienced before at my University. What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had known more about the programs and resources that were offered for students. It would have helped me get to know the campus better before I attended. I aslo wished I had visited the campus more so I was familiar with the campus. Another thing I would have also wished I knew more about the library and how to use its resources.

What is your school best known for?The University of Utah is known for many things, but there are two that I feel stand out among the others. The first is their amazing football team which is currently a member of the Pacific-12 Conference. With the football team comes the amazing student support which can be seen in their infamous MUSS section. The second thing that makes the U stand out is their medical program which is the only one in the state of Utah, they have amazing research programs and the students get hands on experience. Together these make the U a truly remarkable school. What kind of person should attend this school?A true Utah Ute is ready to excel, be challenged and show their support. The U is a prestigious school and the students should be up for the challenge; they must want to excel academically and be willing to work hard to achieve that goal. They should also support the school not only by wearing the school colors but by attending the games, performances and other activities that the school hosts.
