Describe your school in one sentence.UMHB is a great college for incoming freshman to experience a 4 year university. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? The University of Mary Hardin Baylor is rich with tradition. Each year the incoming freshman class has a welcome week. Welcome week takes place the week before classes start. During welcome week the freshman class is split into “family” groups, with upper class-man taking responsibilities as leaders. The freshman class grows close to their classmates in this week so when the academic year starts the students in the freshman class already have lasting relationships with their classmates.

What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?UMHB has a 3:1 girl-to-guy ratio. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school? The school is small and so personal. I have relationships with each of my professors and they genuinely care about me. The campus is small and manageable. I can walk to all of my classes within five minutes. UMHB spends a great deal of effort on keeping up with the gardening; it is beautiful year-round.
