What kind of person should attend this school?Someone prepared to for the rigorous coursework and comfortable in a competitive environment. Unlike high school where teacher says they will treat the class as a college course and still hold your hand, the professors here will not go to you if oyu are failing so always seek help. Someone who is comfortable with a school that does not always specialize in school spirit but fosters growth through finding one’s own special place or niche as many administrators call it. Also, one should be ready for a lot of walking as this campus is one of the largest. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I tell them it is where I learned to grow out of my shy shell. I tell them it was where I learned many life lessons that high school censored. There were many opportunities since it is a research university but also that people are always willing to help others unlike other schools where everyone only cares for themselves. The environment is perfect because it is near the beach and many hiking places are nearby. You can go down to Price center if you’re tired of dorm food and you can always get a free cupcake at Sprinkles.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The social life is severely lacking. In science classes especially, students seem to have very little interest in engaging others in a social manner. Students don’t show an interest in pushing themselves to participate in new things. Many students seem to be ignorant of the world around them. What kind of person should attend this school?A student that is very academically focus who doesn’t require vibrant social opportunities in order to be satisfied with their college experience.
