What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? The lack of things to do in Irvine is staggering! Although It is located in orange county, the city itself is not your typical orange county city. The school is literally dead on the weekends and most of the city shuts down at 8pm. Also, the city is very clean and cookie-cutter, there is very little diversity visually and ethnically.,What kind of person should attend this school?A person who is highly interested in research and plans to go on to graduate school would highly benefit from going to UCI. They have state of the art facilities and world renowed faculty. People who are particularly interested in the sciences would especially benefit for the cutting edge research taking place at UCI.
