What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had known that I should wait until my classes start to buy the needed textbooks. I ended up b uying them before term started and had a few textbooks that i never used.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The most frustrating thing about school is that we have to buy a really expensive meal plan our first year. I had a whole lot of left over meals at the end of the year and they don’t roll over to the next year so it was a waste of money.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about my school is how exclusive it is on campus, especially with the Greek community. It’s almost as if you need to be Greek to be in the loop at UA.,If you could change something about your school, what would you change? If I could change something about UA, it would be to bring the groups on campus together. It’s usually seperated by the Greeks and the non-Greeks, which is silly since we all are apart of the same great school.

Describe your classmates in one sentence. My classmates are all friendly and cool.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? The amount of studying that would be required to be successful in class.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The academic challenges that are present here have puushed me to become a more effective student and an even more productive memeber of society. Another thing that the college has to offer is multiple opportunities to choose from and to participate in.,What kind of person should attend this school?A successful student should be studious and very good at time management. You must be a hard worker and more than willing to spend extra hours at mastering the work that you are asked to do. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it, and overall just be responsible. That means no missing class and turning all work in on time.

What is your school best known for?The University of Alabama is, by far, best known as a football school! Alabama students and fans take pride in the football team and how hard the school works to keep the football team at high standards. I have met students from Spain and Hawaii who have said they wanted to attend Alabama because of the love of sports that is here. I have also been a dedicated fan of the University of Alabama football team ever since I knew what football was. Football and school pride is a big deal in the south, especially at Alabama.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? The University of Alabama is a very large school. One of the main words of advice I would give to prospective students, is to get to know the school grounds very well. Move in a couple days before classes begin and take a walk around the school campus with a list of your class rooms. The best way to not get lost and to really know what Alabama looks like is to take time to get to know it. It is a beautiful campus and the more you know about it, the more you will grow to love and it!
