Describe your classmates in one sentence. They were friendly students in similar situations that I was in.  They were relatable, and I made a few close friends. What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I think I had the right amount of knowledge about the school before attending.  I wasn’t really surprised or disappointed about anything.  Maybe just more about study abroad programs.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The class sizes are very reasonable. If you are looking for a university setting minus the overwhelming amount of people, then this university is a great place to go.What’s the most frustrating thing about your school?I often find that they false advertise events. They advertise events that are not actually what they say they are sometimes. There are some professors who should simply not be there because they do not care about their students nor know how to teach.

Describe your classmates in one sentence.Once people get into their major’s coursework, classmates are very friendly and can be very good study partners or new friends. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school?Because it is a small university, certain classes are not available every semester. It can be frustrating if a desperately needed course is not offered when a student needs it.

Describe your classmates in one sentence. My classmates were open minded, diverse, and unique in their own way. I heard many different stories and viewpoints on different life occurances and it allowed me to diversify my life a little. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?Saginaw Valley provides a unique experience by having smaller classes with more one on one interaction with the professor. Faculty here are very interested in hearing student opinions and leave class open to discussion of the material. Most professors allow you to email or even call them with questions or concerns. Everybody knows everybody at Saginaw Valley.
