What is your school best known for?Miracosta College is best known for it’s quality education at a low cost.,What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school? When I brag to my friends about my school I often discuss the warmness of every staff member at MiraCosta College. From the first time I walked in I was immediately greeted with a friendly face. Everyone I met after that was dedicated to helping me and making my experience better. My teachers were all genuinely sincere and helpful whenever necessary.

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? Before coming to my school I wish i would have known about the ability to rent books online rather than having to buy them. I could have saved a lot of money that I could have used for other supplies. I also wish that I could have understood the importance of using the school library. The Miracosta library is an incredible facility that in recent semesters has been intrumental in my studies, if I would have taken advantage of its services earlier I could have completed many assignments much better and easier.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The thing that frustrates me the most is the overly lax attitudes that many of the students carry. Often times while I’m on campus I am reminded of high school by the other students behavior and attitudes.  They don’t show any passion or commitment in classes, they are immature in the halls, and often times act without taste or tact. College is supposed to be an esteemed place of learning, and often times students don’t seem to notice.  For me it is the common lack of professionalism amogst the students that is most irritating about my school.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about my school is that it does not offer a program that I am interesed in taking. It is a Radiologic Technology AA degree. It is the closest school to where I live, and it would be really great if it offered that program.,What kind of person should attend this school?Anyone who is looking to satisfy their general education requirements. There is also other certificate programs as well as continuing education programs to better your job skills.

What is your school best known for?My community college used to be reffered as “Harvard on a Hill”, transfer rates are exponential and the professors which currently teach at the school are well above par. Excellence is a great way to describe the school. Their departments are all full of dedicated professors willing to help students advance towards their most desired goals. It is one of the best community colleges in the state of California.  The success rates of students exceeds expectations, and the atmosphere is one of the best available. It provides further encouragement for student,What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?Well first of all, I let them know that Miracosta College has one of the highest transfer rates one could imagine. Many of the students that attend the campus usually move on to Universities to pursue their main goals. I like to bring up how my grades have been very legitimate during the semesters I have attended at Miracosta College. It really proves my school is successful in helping students progress towards success.  I also like to emphasize the atmosphere which Miracosta Belongs to, it provides views of the ocean as well as the mountains. Great for relaxation and work.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about my school is the prices of textbooks/materials; then again, that is how colleges are.  This scholarship will help me with this problem!,What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school? The kind of people that shouldn’t attend this school are people who don’t want to further their education and who don’t want to enjoy learning! MiraCosta is a great school with wonderful teachers and great classes. If that is not something you want, then I suggest you go somewhere else.
