What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?Even though Miami Dade is an excellent option, I would improve their FASFA application process. Compared to other universities, the students only have to submit forms one time for their Pell Grant. At Miami Dade College, you have to submit the same forms every time a student apply for FASFA, which can slow down the process. If the information is the same as previous semesters, the student should not be required to submit the forms over again. If Miami Dade College improve this, the students’ semesters can go by smoothly without worrying when their Pell Grant would be approved. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? At Miami Dade College, you not only learn from the professors who are extremely trained in their field, but you also learn from the students.  Miami Dade College is very diverse and you learn a lot from other students who are trying to pursue their dreams. Even though Miami Dade is cheaper compared to other colleges, you also have a option of furthering your education by obtaining your 4 year degree at a cheaper price, compared to Universities. Miami Dade College is an excellent option for students who want a 4 year degree at an affordable price.

Describe your school in one sentence.MDC is a school focused on prividing real life experiences of the outside world as a teaching method. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? After attending FIU for a semester and not being satisfied with the teaching format of the teachers,  I decide to go back to MDC where I felt that I truly learned.  The teachers make the class interesting by interacting with the students.  The teachers are very knowledgeable of the material and give us real life examples of how to conduct ourselves in a business environment.  MDC has small classes where you have the ability to get one on one with the teacher.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing i consider abou Miami Dade College is the parking. Finding a parking spot can seem like a battle and sometimes can take up to 30 minutes to find a spot. Many students are late to class due to the time spent finding a parking spot.Describe your school in one sentence.Miami Dade College is a craddle of opportunity
