Describe your classmates in one sentence.A majority of the students attending Kent Tuscarawas are 18-23 years old. They are just beginning their adult life. I on the other had, is part of the minority who have been in the work force. For whatever reason, we are going back to start or complete their education. In my case, I was recently laid off and decided to take this opportunity as a door opening and complete my education before re-entering the workforce.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish that I had taken my education more seriously at first. I made it a continuation of my high school career. Instead of being focused on education, I spent too much time having fun. Now, I seriously regret that. I am re-entering the college atmosphere after a long absence. I see education in a whole different light now. Kicking myself as I look back. But I am also using that experience as a learning tool. I have more focus and clearer goal as I go about doing what I should have done all those years ago.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The size and location of the campus. Being a non-traditional student I prefer to live off-campus. My travel time is ten minutes to class. The size of the campus allows for a one on one relationship with professors.,Describe your school in one sentence.A great school for a variety of reasons.

Describe your school in one sentence.Kent State Tuscarawas is an extremely valuable, localized University branch that affords it’s students the rare opportunity to expand their education as well as expand their life experience without having to travel a great distance totake advantage of all that college has to offer them.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had known what potential I possessed to learn and succeed before I came to this school.  At Kent State, I have come to realize how important a college education is.  It is especially important to apply yourself to the fullest.  Now that I see that I can succeed, I know I have the tools and confidence I will need to be productive in my future career.

What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? If i had to choose one thing about my school that frustrates me, I wouldnt be able to choose anything. Kent Tusc. is a great institution that is affordable and very diverse. Getting an education is vital to our countries future and Kent makes getting an education even more possible.,If you could change something about your school, what would you change? One thing i would change about my school is to make more scholarships available. Trying to go to school full time, work, study, and still try to have time with my family and friends is hard. I cant even imagine how difficult it is for those students who have kids.  I want to be able to become a nurse so i can help those who are sick or hurt. I want to be able to make a difference in lives. More scholarships would make it easier for people to reach their goals.

Describe your school in one sentence. My school is new and up-to-date with its educational standards.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The most frustrating thing about my school is the limited time slots for classes.  I am attending a regional campus and not all classes are offered at different times of the day.  As a single parent it makes life very difficult for me. I am currently having a hard time fitting in my required courses because a few are at conflicting times.  It has actually set me back a full year. I wanted to take classes to complete a minor during that time, unfortunately my campus does not offer all of the classes needed.
