Describe your school in one sentence.Kent State University is everything that I imagined college life to be. You a fun atmosphere and great people. The downtown area is super fun. I have made so many friends there. You really do meet all kinds of people from diffrent walks of live and its just amazing to see that you all came together for a better education. The scenery is beautiful and the may fourth building will make you shed a few tears. All and all its just a great place to go to school.What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?Kent State is diffrent from all the other schools I was considering because, it came out of the blue for me and yet turned out to be everything I needed. Its so diverse in culture and music and even food. Its unique to me becasue it my home away from home.

Describe your school in one sentence.My school is diverse, fun, and refreshing.What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?Someone who is hard headed or an extremist about issues should not attend Kent, due to the strong liberal standing of many of the students.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The best thing about Kent is the atmosphere that you feel as soon as you step on campus. When you look around, you see students walking around or playing on the beautiful green grass, it is truely an amazing feeling. I get a wonderful feeling just from being on campus, seeing everyone having fun and interacting with one another. Whether it’s a game of volleyball, basketball, football or even altimate frisbee, there’s always something to do on the Kent Campus.What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about Kent is definitely the parking. Freshmen aren’t allowed to park anywhere except the Stadium which is located all the way down the street. You have to take a shuttle to get there and back. If you have a job or something important to do that day, getting to and from your car can be time consuming.

Describe your school in one sentence.Kent State University is challenging and rewarding, with an incredibly helpful faculty and staff.What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had known how much more difficult the curriculum is in comparison to other schools. However, I really believe it is worth it, and I have learned so much more at Kent State University than I feel I would have at another school.

What is your school best known for?Kent State University is best known as top rated in nursing and the fashion school has been endorsed by the Ohio Board of Regents as a center of excellence and rated as one of the top in the country and 13th best in the world.  Kent State University is also known as having a high success rate in graduates and it’s motto is “Excellence in Action” which makes this university the prime place for achieving life goals.  Kent State University has made great strides in becoming a breeding ground for excellence.What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I brag about the environment and atmosphere, the classes, how we excel academically, and how we get involved in the community.  Whether we are engaging in a philanthropic event through fraternities or sororities such as the Greek Music Awards that benefits veterans for comfort homes built on the grounds of major VA medical centers worldwide.  These homes enable loved ones to be close to wounded military veterans while they are getting treatment.  We engage in events as such as Relay for Life and students are always involved in fundraising for a causes such as Make a Wish foundation.
