What kind of person should attend this school?Anyone looking to learn valuable skills and further their education.  Gadsden State has many programs of study as well as techinaical programs and certificate programs to choose from.  It does not matter if you are look for a degree to transfer on to a four year university or a hands on technical degree to finally get that pay raise or that promotion you been waiting on.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The only thing I find truly frustrating is at the begining of a semester when you have to wait on pell grant charges to open up before you can get any of your books or supplies. You have to wait in long lines and most of the time when you get to the front of the line they have run out of what you need. Then you have to wait on the book store to order you supplies.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The relative cost and the distance were the key factors in my choice of schools. i come from a large (7 kids) family and my parents do not make enough to send us to college so i have to do the best i can for myself, to ensure my goals are reached.,What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?i would like for my school to have more student activities. Everyone i have spoken to about the things to do agree with me that there are just not enough of them. i would like to feel involved and i know others would as well. perhaps a monthly meeting of students can be arranged to come up with ideas to set in motion.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The most impressive thing about my school is it’s ability to prepare a student for harder obstacles.  By having class rooms that make feel you like you are still in high school, but challenges your mind to grow as though you are in a university.  This grants you time to grow a custom to what real college classes are.  My school awakens your mind to more then what it was used to before making university life less hard.,What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I tell them that it is easy to get the hang of and it teaches them invaluable skills.  Another thing is the groups are very helpful and enjoyable to be in.  The group at our school helps to build you into a more round charcter with a better personality.  But the most important thing a I tell them about my school is that it gives you a affordable chance to become something with your life.

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish that I would have known how to study. Learning how to study seems like such an elementary topic, but it is a serious issue with many entering freshmen. The transition from high school to college is a big change and some students may not be able to handle the change. I wish that I would have learned to prioritize my schedule in order to get the most done in the least amount of time. It would have made my first semester in college less stressful.,What kind of person should attend this school? The kind of person that should attend this college is one who is serious about bettering themselves and getting the best education in the area. This person must be dedicated to their studies and must have the willpower to make sacrifices to obtain good grades. A student who wants to attend this college must understand that he or she isn’t going to college just to learn but to get and education so that they will one day be able to do their part in making this world a better place.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about my school would be that we do not have the funds for better lab equiptment, and also not enough parking spaces.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I would have checked out what credits would transfer to a four year college.
