What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst part would have to be the vast space on the campus being used so poorly. Majority of the university’s population commutes to school, but there is barely any room for parking.  Yet they are making more buildings to increase the already high number of classrooms, as well as for dorms for the 7% of students that live on campus. The events on campus are always located in the same places in front of GL or in GC while there are so many areas the student organizations to go to add variation to the school atmosphere. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school?Scheduling classes at FIU is the most frustrating task I ever had to endure. The worst part is the university’s cycling of classes. FIU has the logic that every student is on the same path. During the Fall Semester, thousands of classes should be provided for Chemistry I and barely any for Chemistry II, then the reversed for the Spring Semester. For the Summer Semester, barely any upper level courses are provided, because the student should be taking summer internships. Despite the fact that there are part-time internships that can be balanced with college classes.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The best thing about FIU is how modern and progressive the school is. You are constantly surrounded by new ideas to help the community and around the globe . With organic markets every wednesdays and random social awareness movements, your always aware of the world around you.Describe your classmates in one sentence. My classmates are in the same boat as i am, just trying to pass exams so when needed classmates are willing to help me help themselves in a win-win trade off.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The environment. Everything about FIU keeps me motivated to strive for more. I go to school everyday with hope in my heart, that one day I’ll be walking out with a diploma and a smile on my parent’s face. Not only that, but the rest of my colleagues, even the ones I don’t know also have that feeling and motivation for a better future. By being part of this beautiful community I feel like I’m on top of the world, even if I’m only an ant. What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?Nobody, everybody should have the same opportunity to attend FIU. Now, if you’re a pessimistic ungrateful person, you probably won’t be having a good time already. I feel pessimistic myself sometimes, but the moment I remember where I go to school, and how great it is to be part of such a great place I put all the bad things behind. Anybody who’s told not to go, should rebel and go. You do what’s best for you and your happiness, don’t ever let anybody tell you otherwise!
