What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The professors at Drake are amazing. Many of them are involved in research for the university, but they care about the students just as much. Almost all are more than willing to help you during office hours. Many will give you internships or the opportunity to work on research with them, or give you career advice. Many of them are tough, but at the same time, they push you to ensure you do your best. It’s not uncommon for your class to meet up for dinner with your professor at the end of semester. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? One of the most frustrating things for me is the financial aid office. In order to pay for school, I need to apply for many scholarships and loans in order to attend the unversity, I work with the financial aid office a lot. Sometimes, they are very slow at getting me the help I need, or give me the run around when I’m trying to plan how to pay for my next year.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?The worst thing about Drake University is the tuition cost. I think this because affording my tuition is a hassle on my income and my money situation and will be for a long time.Describe your school in one sentence.Drake University is a university with high standards, diversity, creativity, future setting, and many more aspects greatly available to every single student.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?I would consider the worst thing about Drake to be the recreation center. It’s very small and doesn’t really have enough cardio equipment for busy hours. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school?Drake is not a very adapting place for transfer students. Although there was a transfer orientation it was not very welcoming or informative and I feel like no one really met anyone. Also, it’s frustrating how sporadically Hubbell South is open for food.

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I came into Kaplan University knowing nothing. They were very helpful with every question I had.  I wish I had known how easy it was to get into school and talk with financial aid.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? There is nothing frustrating about Kaplan. I like everything about it. There is limited amount of students in my classes and the teachers are very helpful with everything.
