Describe your classmates in one sentence.Davenport is a mix of college age students and returning adults.  It is a supportive and healthy environment for learning. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I’m in a small nursing class of about 30, and it’s good.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?Perspective students have the opportunity to attend a private university that will support thier students. The staff and advisors support you 110% toward graduating successfully. My advisor Jenny Thurber is the best she made sure when I was struggling in one class she called me.  She offered advise of using the campus online tutor service.  I have experienced great advice and support from 99% of my instructors since I started at D.U.  is costly but it’s the best decision I ever made for my future and my young childs future. If you could change something about your school, what would you change?None

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?I found that Davenport was more apt to have students applying or accepting loans, instead of helping them find other means for financing their education. Whether through scholarships, grants or payment arrangements there are other sources for financing a college education. I found Davenport to be lacking in this area.,What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?Davenport offers complete degree programs online. This is beneficial to non-traditional students (like myself) that must work while attending college. This can be very beneficial, but new students need to make sure that they stay on task and even work ahead to satisfactory to high marks. With the online learning format, there are times that there seems like there is not any one available to help, but Davenport offers online tutoring as well as tutoring on campus. If a student is having educational problems, it is best to seek out these tutors for help.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?Davenport is a wonderful school to attend. I am currently attending the school online and all of the staff is wonderful and well prepared. I would recommend Davenport because everything about this school is amazing. There is all the help you need.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?Acctually I went into this blind. I didnt know the first thing about college and what to expect. The Davenport staff and advisors are there and help me with every step of the way and to answer all questions I might have.
