What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?Cosumnes River College gives each individual an opportunity to succeed. Any type of person can fit in on this campus because it is a diverse campus with students. CRC students come from a variety of age groups, ethnic backgrounds, social status etc.  CRC has changed me into a person of integrity because of the values that CRC stands for.  Nobody should be denied the right to further their education, and CRC makes it possible for anyone to further their education. Community college gives everyone in a community a chance to go to college no matter what their background is.,What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?I believe that Cosumnes River College is a campus of diversity. I believe CRC is unique because of all of the programs dedicated to helping minority students.  Students have many available resources to help them succeed.  Diop Scholars program which increases academic success in African American students. The Puente Project which helps returning students become mentors and leaders to the community. Mesa helps underprivileged students pursuing a degree in math, science, engineering, or computer science. Disability Support Programs & Services gives equal educational opportunity for students with physical, psychological, or learning disabilities.

What kind of person should attend this school? There are many kind of peole who should attend this school, such as; recent high school grads who don’t have the grades to enter a university, later in life college students who want to better themselves after taking a long break from education, Students whose parents can’t afford to put them in a university a community college is a much cheaper route to your goals, Those who aren’t really sure what they want to major in a community college allows you to take all you general education requirements while you determine what your goals are.,What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?Unfortunately, I believe the kind of person who should not attend this school are those who have severe learning disabilities because the proffessors do not slow down the pace of the class just to help out one student that can’t keep up. The truth is, teachers teach to the majority of the classes educational level and not to each individual student. I have a cousin who is an adult but she has the mind of a 10 year old. She tried her hand at community college, But like many others she left discouraged and enrolled in easter seals program.

Describe your classmates in one sentence.People of all races,  interested in learning about Early Childhood Education they are interested in working with very young children and teaching they more effectively.,If you could change something about your school, what would you change?I would make it more lukerative for individuals to make more money once they finished their education in ECE, If I could write a scholarship for this to happen at my learning instutuite I would.

What is your school best known for?I’m not sure what or school is known for, i’m not sure that there is anything. What I feel like it should be known for… the teachers. The teachers here almost all have a pasion, almost all have a real desire to see you succeeed. The teacher here, for the most part, can see when a student has potential, has drive, wants help. They try to encourage this and bring it out in the new budding student.,What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The most frustrating thing about my school is the lack of guidance. I feel that it is very hard to get information here; financial aid, the process of graduation those are the worst and the things many of us need help in the most.
