What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The teachers here are really great. Often, you get teachers that are working on research, and teaching here as a side job, so they really know what’s going on in the real world. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?That it’s not in the best part of town. On campus shootings, muggings, etc. Wouldn’t want to live on campus or take night classes.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?I wish I lived closer to my school.  I am a wife and a mother, so my time is mostly spent in the car. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?I absolutely love the staff at my school. I’ve been out of school for 14 years, so they have made it very easy to get back on track and registered for school.

What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school?I would say that the kind of person that shouldn’t attend this school is someone who does not want to learn or be challenged. The coursework at Clayton State is definitely challenging and I am pushed to stretch the limits that I think are possible with my learning experience. The faculty is generally very friendly and willing to help you succeed. What’s the most frustrating thing about your school? The most frustrating thing about my school is the distance from my home. It is about thirty miles from my home and with Atlanta traffic it can often take me over an hour to get to campus. The reason I chose to attend my school is because the BSN nursing program is very competitive and the cost of attending is quite reasonable compared to other schools in the area.
