What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I had known that I didn’t have to be shy and that it was okay to be myself. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school? We’re a small, personal school where our professors know us by name. It is easy to make friends if you are willing to go out of your comfort zone a little. The facilities are nice and the food is pretty good.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?Honestly, I don’t really have something that I don’t like about this school. I love everything about it and am glad I chose this school. I think the only thing that I have a problem with it are the food court hours, but I’ve worked around those hours countless times, so it is not so bad. This school is amazing and it is the place to be if you want great faculty and a small campus. It feels like home here to me.What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? What is unique about Capital compared to other schools is how small the campus is. I love the fact tha I can get up 15 minutes before class grab my books throw on some sweats and a t-shirt and still make it to class on time. I like that it is small and I don’t have to worry about rushing when it comes to getting to where I need to be on time.

Describe your classmates in one sentence. My classmates at Capital University were very open minded. Everyone accepted each other and invested in the learning experience. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?Capital University was the perfect fit for me. I returned to college while continuing to work full-time. Capital University understood the needs of working adults. The staff and faculty of the university cared about the learning experience of all students. I felt comfortable in every environment at the college.

What is your school best known for?Capital University is best known for its Law program and its Conservatory of Music. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? My university is unique because it is its own form of melting pot society. At Capital university there is a large emphasis on the potential and talents of the individual and the school focuses on ways to advance and utilize these skills.

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wished that I had known how much work college really is. I breezed through high school so easily that going to college was a big change. You should be prepared to spend late nights up, finishing papers, and studying a lot harder than you did in high school. Focus on becoming an active learner, and not procrastinating on your work. What kind of person should attend this school? If you are a person that likes the idea of a tight-knit community Capital is the place for you. The classes are small and you can really get to know your professors and the people that are in your classes.  You should be a person that is serious about learning and working hard to get a good degree.  There is a place for everyone, whether you are artistic, athletic, religious, social, there is something for everyone on this campus. Come with an open mind and an open heart and you will be sure to go far here!
