What is your school best known for?In the field I am in, I know my school is good for its Behavior Analysis program.  Outside of that, our track and field team is pretty good, and we are the only CSU school without a football team. What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I would have been more aware of the different clubs available, as well as scholarship opportunities.  I only took out loans to pay for school, and now I’m regretting it.  All in all, I really love how the campus is set up, how the classes are typically small, and the professors/students are very friendly.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?I should have saved part of my previous statement for this section. However, I cannot stress enough how much communication and support the faculty has kept with me, both in undrgraduate and graduate education. I am very grateful communication between faculty is encouraged, as it has groomed me to be a better student and communicator.Describe your school in one sentence.Stanislaus State University is a great school. It has just the right ratio of students and instructors. Well balanced school size enables students and faculty to engage more with eachother. Professors are always easily accessable, ready and willing to help guide and polish students towards greatness and employability. Words cannot accurately describe my experience. I have seen my self transform to a bright, postiive, motivated student. Initially, I was content with graduated with only a BA. The support of students and faculty have aided in further encouraging me to pursuing a graduate degree as well .

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I know how far away it was from my home because I will not have my family close to me since they live in Los Angeles and i will not. I am really going to miss them and my friends. I also wish i knew that it will be hard getting into the major of Nusring because there is limited space. I wll have to work very hard if i want to get into nursing because it is not a easy career. What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered? My school is a median school where I feel I will be able to learn better. In this school I feel I will be able to interact with many new people and get to know my profesors really good. Is a beautiful campus surrounded by nature and not in a city. It has the major i want to do so I know i will feel good being in this school.
