What kind of person should attend this school?Someone who wants to work hard and also someone who wants to have fun. It helps if you want to be involved on campus between sports, student government, or the countless student-run organizations.,What’s unique about your school compared to other schools you considered?Bridgwater State College is unique in its synthesis of in-class and on-line learning. It offers a great website allowing students to find out what is going on every day on campus, where to look for scholarships, and unique and fun opportunites. Additionally, there is a great mix of students from race, nationality, religion, age, and so on.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?I consider the social justice movement that is continuously growing on my campus to be the best thing about my school. Bridgewater State College is socially an extremely progressive school. The school has increasingly become devoted to becoming more enviornmentally conscious and has always been concerned with diversity issues. The president, facaulty and much of the student body at this school are very passionate about social justice giving students full support for any activism or community service that may interest them and also gives students a lot of leadership opportunities.,What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?I consider the worst thing about Bridgewater State College to be the lack of organization within the administration. Officies and departments aimed to support students, such as the disabilities, study abroad, technology information, and financial aid offices, often times lack the speed and knowledge needed to effectively support the students who need its services.

What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I knew how distant my high school friends would really become, and I wish I knew to be more open-minded at the beginning of my first semester here.,What kind of person should attend this school?Someone who likes small, close-knit classrooms and who would enjoy meeting new people from outside the United States. Someone who is dedicated to their schooling, but would enjoy the full college experience as well.

Describe your school in one sentence.Bridgewater State College is large, but exciting, with its diverse student body and wide array of student activities.,What do you wish you had known before you came to this school? Before I came to Bridgewater State College, I wish I had known better what living at college would be like. My two older sisters have lived at college before, and I had visited them on their campuses, but I did not get the full feeling of what college is really like. When I got here, I missed home so much, and I did not know how to cope with the change. Luckily, as time went on, I got more used to living on campus.
