Describe your school in one sentence.Augustana is an educational institution built on legacy and kindness, where the classes may be smaller but the instruction and environment provided are outstanding! What kind of person shouldn’t attend this school? If you’re one who doesn’t like getting to know other people, learning new things, and having an open mind towards those who are different to you, Augustana is not the place for you.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?The best thing about my school are the students. Every student at Augustana is warming and welcoming to all students. No one is ever shy to ask someones help or advice on a certain topic; nor is anyone ever scared to ask the wrong question because every student at Augustana will listen and be supportive.  I consider the students at Augustana the best thing about our school. What do you wish you had known before you came to this school?I wish I would have known that I needed to have good time management skills; to be able to balance school work with extra curriactivities and social life. I feel that being able to manage everything that’s going on around you is an important skill that every high school student should work on before attending college.

Describe your classmates in one sentence. My classmates are fun, amazing, and brilliantly intelligent.,What kind of person should attend this school?I believe anyone could attend Augustana College. It is a very good college that will challenge you intellectually and will lead you to explore depths of your mind that you didn’t know existed. The college offers a wide variety of majors and pre-professional programs for students. The Union Board of Governors, a student-led organization, organizes a great variety of events to attend, from bowling to free movies to dances! There are also a lot of international students at Augustana, and interacting with them can expand your view of the world.

What do you consider the best thing about your school? Why?Friendly students and staff.  I have felt at home since my first visit here.  I have developed friends that are going to always be my friends. “My people”  is what my mom calls them.  I have found a new home at Augustana and Sioux Falls and the people here are friendly and polite.  They say thank you when you open a door and are quick to smile.  I love it here.,What kind of person should attend this school?I think Augustana is for everyone.  We have a very diverse campus and alot of foreign students.  The campus is beautiful and the class rooms and all facilities are state of the art.  By far the nicest I saw while visiting campuses.  We have great pride in this school.  It is always clean and ready for visitors and people are happy to help out when you look lost.  The classes here are hard but the professors actually know you and are available to help.
