College roommates can test your patience and even your limits. Although most bring along average bad habits, like leaving the top off the toothpaste or eating your favorite chips without permission, some roommates are just plain crazy. I am talking about the ones who need to be placed in a rubber room or have sharp objects hidden from them. It may not be easy to spot a crazy roommate at first, but if you pay attention to the signs, you'll know fairly soon if you are rooming with Mother Teresa or Mommy Dearest.
